Standard Laryngoscope

A Standard Laryngoscope is also referred to as a Conventional Laryngoscope. In a conventional laryngoscope, the LED is on the blade and powered by a line from the source in the handle.

Conventional laryngoscopes are commonly used for tracheal intubations. Macintosh blade is the most popular curved blade while Miller is generally the preferred straight blade.
